A sweet friend from high school ordered the Nashville skyline painting back in August. She loved it enough to buy two more Nashville related pieces from me. I love how the set turned out! The other places she chose to have painted were: Broadway Street and the Pedestrian Bridge. To be honest I struggled a little with these. Here’s the thing; I am not a professional. I just keep trying new things. I often get a little anxiety upon receiving order requests. I question my ability and sometimes just want to give up. But in moments when I am inspired I begin by taking simple steps... “just finish the pencil sketch” I tell myself, then I push through little by little. I add colors one at a time and then the piece begins to take character. I am grateful God has blessed me to grow my talents, it both surprises me and humbles me to finish these paintings. I sincerely thank you for your support. Special thanks to all my kind customers that help me to continue to stretch my creativity and talents. 🎨✂️🖌 As a treat to you for reading this far- enjoy this time lapse video that I made while painting the pedestrian bridge. :) I am itching to do some more city skylines or an artistic version of a "city map" that would include important landmarks. Let me know if you are interested!
