Pencil Grip Tip

I didn’t do my #TipTuesday this week because I didn’t think you guys were watching BUT I got a few messages about it, so here’s what I’ve got for ya... . ✏️ Holding your pencil ✏️ You think you know how, but handwriting and sketching should be different hand positions. Notice the angle you hold your pencil when you just write a litter- it’s straight up and down (90 degrees) which can penetrate/dent/scratch the paper. When sketching you will want to write with faint lines that are erasable and don’t ruin the surface of the paper. SO... Move your pencil underneath all of your fingers to change your grip like you see in this clip. It changes the angle of the pencil tip (more like 30 degrees) to be gentler on the paper and actually gives you more control. This grip takes some practice but it is better in my opinion. Hope you love this tip, try it out and let me know what you think! □
