My sweet teacher ordered a special painting from me recently and it has a fun story that I wanted to share. So she and her family were sealed in the Hermosillo, Mexico LDS Temple. It was so hot out that they really weren't able to get any pictures of their special day together. I'm glad to be able to capture memories like this though my paintings. This painting is pretty detailed because there are so many different components and layers to it. It is also a bit lager than the other paintings that I usually do; this was 11 x 15. So this was a fairly substantial project for me to complete. The painting part took over 3 hours to complete, and that doesn't include the design phase, or sketching. I just love how it turned out! Below is a time-lapse of the painting process. You'll have to ignore when my head is in the way and the change of lighting.
