My great friend Celine contacted me back in early February inviting me to participate in a stylized photoshoot and wedding workshop that she was putting together. We talked a little bit for some brainstorming and color schemes then she sent me on my creative way.
For the next month I had been working on some really cool things. Sometimes I would have to craft in the car, so that i could stay up on schedule with all that I wanted to do for this. Its the first time that I could really share my work in a public setting (Facebook doesn't hardly count...) so I really wanted to make a good impression. Though not my typical colors to work with, I carefully designed around these moody yet elegant colors that were selected for the shoot:
I think one reason I love to craft so much is that I see it as a problem solving challenge. I look at something that and think to myself, "I wonder how I would make that..." Then I if I want it bad enough, I convince myself to figure it out. For example. I have REAAAALLLLLYYYYY been wanting to get one of those vintage looking letter boards I have seen all over Instagram. They are so cute and provide a fun way to express yourself. Problem is- they are pretty pricy. So this is where my creativity kicks in. Could I just make one?
Organized but Colorful.
Aspire to Inspire.
